Concord, N.H. — Rising high school seniors are encouraged to prepare for the college admissions process by enrolling in an online College Summer Boot Camp workshop this summer. The workshops are offered by The NHHEAF Network, a Concord nonprofit agency and the state’s largest source of college planning services.
During the workshop, participants will review successful college admission essays, learn what colleges are looking for in a college essay and start composing a draft of the college essay.
The no-cost workshops are offered on five Wednesdays, including July 15th, July 22nd, July 29th, August 15,th and August 22 nd and will start at 9:30 a.m.
College Outreach Specialist Angela Castonguay states, “Students participating in one of our workshops will begin writing their college essay with the guidance and support of college admissions officers from across New Hampshire. A relaxed, comfortable setting allows students to work at their own pace to create an essay they can be proud of.”

Since 1962, The NHHEAF Network has helped New Hampshire families plan and pay for higher education. The Organizations’ Center for College Planning (CCP) provides the state’s students and families with valuable information about the college planning process - from savings options and college admissions requirements, to applying for financial aid and scholarships.
