Concord, N.H. — Erik Sobel of Pembroke, NH has recently joined Concord’s NHHEAF Network Organizations as the Vice President of Information Services. In this capacity, Sobel is responsible for the development, implementation and management of all information systems and security policies for the Organizations.
With over twenty years of industry experience, Sobel previously served as the Director of Information Security & Systems at Northeast Delta Dental. Sobel, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP,) earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Information Technology Management from Granite State College and holds a leadership certificate from the University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business & Economics.
Christiana Thornton, President & CEO of the nonprofit NHHEAF Network Organizations, states, “We’re delighted to have Erik join our leadership team. His experience, knowledge and management capabilities will help us to develop and implement the information systems strategies we need to continue our focus of helping our state’s students pursue post-secondary education.”
Since 1962, the NHHEAF Network Organizations have helped New Hampshire families plan and pay for higher education. The Organizations’ Center for College Planning (CCP) provides NH students and families with college planning information. Free materials, programs, and services help the state’s residents to understand the college admissions process, apply for financial aid and scholarships, and explore possible financing options.
