Concord, N.H. — Todd C. Emmons has been elected Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF), a nonprofit agency focused on helping the state’s families plan and pay for college. Mr. Emmons was elected during the agency’s February board meeting.
Mr. Emmons, of New London, has served on the NHHEAF board since February 2013 and is currently the Chief Financial Officer for the Spaulding Youth Center in Northfield. He received his MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and earned his Master’s in Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
"I am delighted Todd continues to support NHHEAF’s work in the state of New Hampshire by sharing his expert financial expertise and his valuable time," states President & CEO René A. Drouin.
NHHEAF was established by the banking community in 1962 to guarantee student loans and currently works diligently to support borrowers in the successful repayment of federal student loans. NHHEAF also guides and supports the work of the Center for College Planning (CCP), which provides NH students and families with valuable, free information about the college planning process - from savings options and college admissions requirements, to applying for financial aid and scholarships.
