Concord, N.H. — The NHHEAF Network Organizations’ employee-led NHHEAF Network Cares charitable giving program announced today eight (8) New Hampshire nonprofit agencies are recipients of mini-grants to be used to further support their work in the state. Since the initiative’s inception in 2014, 38 New Hampshire nonprofits have received mini-grants through this initiative.

Seven nonprofit agencies were awarded $225 in mini-grant funds are: Rundlett Middle School’s Blue Duke Care Closet (Concord), Concord Coalition to End Homelessness (Concord), Easter Seals NH (Manchester), SafeKids NH (Lebanon), The Children’s Place & Parent Education Center (Concord), The Friends Program (Concord), and The Homestead Inn (Boscawen). In addition, Bridges-New Hampshire (Nashua) received $150 in mini-grant funds.

The Organizations’ employees have contributed or raised over $26,000 in monetary contributions which are distributed through the mini-grant process or are raised as part of fundraising for such events as the Payson Center for Cancer Care's Rock 'N Race, and Child and Family Services’ SleepOut event. In addition, employees have collected nearly 9,000 pounds of food and performed over 2,200 hours of volunteer service to nonprofit agencies in New Hampshire.

“Over 60 New Hampshire nonprofit agencies have benefitted from our employees’ generosity,” states President & CEO Rene A. Drouin. “Our 170 employees have fun as part of this employee-led program, and see their donations providing needed resources in communities across the state.”
