Concord, N.H.– On Saturday, March 18th, 1,000 New Hampshire high school juniors and parents/guardians will attend the 18th Annual Destination CollegeSM event at Plymouth State University (PSU). This annual, free college planning convention is hosted by The NHHEAF Network Organizations and is designed to help high school juniors and their families prepare for entry to college.
The event will begin in PSU’s Hartman Union Building at 8:30 a.m. with a welcome from New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, Plymouth State University Dean of Enrollment Management Jason Moran and The NHHEAF Network Organizations’ President and CEO, René A. Drouin. The keynote address will be delivered by this year’s Destination CollegeSM Speech Contest winner, and $1,000 scholarship recipient, Bow High School senior, Kailey Andrew.
Registered attendees will have access to a variety of informational seminars by expert presenters on topics including college admissions, financial aid, scholarship searching, and career and college exploration, as well as specialized sessions for students interested in studying internationally and playing collegiate sports. In addition to informational seminars, attendees will also attend a college fair from 12:30 to 2 p.m. which features over 60 colleges and universities in the Hartman Union Building’s Court Room.
