Concord, N.H.– Beginning October 1, many high school seniors across New Hampshire turn their attention to a very important step in the college application process; applying for federal financial aid. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required by all colleges and universities across the nation to determine a student’s eligibility for federal financial aid, federal education grants and for some universities, institutional grants and assistance.
The NHHEAF Network Organizations’ Center for College Planning (CCP) offers NH families free financial aid advice and assistance filling out this important form in their Concord office.
“It is critical for students to understand that the FAFSA form needs to be submitted to meet a college’s deadline in order to be considered for financial aid," stated College Outreach Specialist Angela Castonguay. "We know that the FAFSA can cause anxiety for students and parents but we are here to answer any questions and ensure the form is filed accurately and on time.”
To register for a FAFSA filing appointment, or for assistance with a FAFSA question, please call 888.747.2382, ext. 119.
