17th Annual Destination CollegeSM - New Hampshire’s Statewide College Admissions and Financial Aid Planning Event
Concord, N.H.– On Saturday, April 2, over 1,000 New Hampshire high school juniors and their parents/guardians will attend the 17th Annual Destination CollegeSM event at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). This annual, free college planning convention hosted by The NHHEAF Network Organizations is designed to help high school juniors and their families prepare for entry to college.
The event begins with a welcome by New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan, Southern New Hampshire University Executive Vice President & University Provost Dr. Patricia Lynott and The NHHEAF Network Organizations’ President and CEO, René A. Drouin. The keynote address will be delivered by this year’s Destination CollegeSM Speech Contest winner, and $1,000 scholarship recipient, Timberlane Regional High School senior, Drew Hogg.
Registered attendees will have access to a variety of informational seminars by expert presenters on topics including college admissions, financial aid, scholarship searching, and career and college exploration, as well as specialized sessions for students interested in obtaining a college education through military service and playing collegiate sports. In addition to informational seminars, attendees will also attend a college fair from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. which features over 70 colleges and universities in SNHU’s Small Gym.
Thanks to support for our generous sponsors, students will have the opportunity to win three (3) $500 college scholarships, an iPad, and Amazon gift cards.
