I Am College Bound
New Hampshire’s College Application Campaign
Part of a National Campaign
The American College Application Campaign (ACAC) is a national effort to help high school seniors navigate the college admissions process and increase the number of students who submit college applications, with a particular focus on first-generation and low-income students. College access professionals volunteer to work with seniors during school time to complete and submit at least one college application. All 50 states participate in this national initiative!
New Hampshire’s College Application Campaign is called I Am College Bound (IACB), which the NHHEAF Network proudly facilitates each year.
With You Through Every Step of the Admissions Process
By giving students direct access and support to apply to college, it is hoped students will be more confident in their college application process and will continue to explore all options. While a main focus of this campaign is the first generation college student population, we welcome all seniors to participate. This campaign also supports larger state goals of encouraging students to pursue post-secondary education and achieve career success right here in New Hampshire.
I Am College Bound’s signature event is I Applied, an in-school application campaign in which college access professionals volunteer to support students submit at least one application. In addition to I Applied, I Am College Bound has three further components that encourage students to cross the finish line of their college application process. I Filed is a FAFSA filing and financial aid campaign, spreading awareness of the critical importance for all students to file their FAFSA and working with students to file. I Decided celebrates students post-secondary decisions in May and I Rise supports students through the transition from high school to college. The NHHEAF Network is delighted to coordinate all aspects of IACB across the state.
