Applicant must be:

  • NH Resident, although may attend college out-of-state.
  • Enrolled as a full-time student.
  • Achieving 'junior' or 'senior' grade level by fall 2019 and must be enrolled for entire 2019-2020 academic year.
  • An applicant for financial aid (Filed FAFSA for upcoming school year).
  • Attaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher at the time of application.
  • Please Note: Prior CEO Scholarship candidates are encouraged to reapply. However, prior CEO Scholarship recipients are not eligible to reapply.

This scholarship involves five stages:

Stage 1. All eligible students are asked to complete the CEO Scholarship Application by Friday, April 19, 2019.

Stage 2. Select applicants will be contacted via email by Friday, May 3, 2019 and required to submit the following:

  • Copy of a Current College Transcript
  • Copy of a Student Aid Report/Student Aid Transcript (from FAFSA application)

Stage 3. Finalists will be invited to interview in-person (required) with business leaders from the CEO program at our Concord campus on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 or Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Stage 4. Scholarship winners will be notified by Friday, May 24, 2019.

Stage 5. Scholarship winners will be required to attend the CEO Leadership Scholarship morning reception on Thursday, May 30, 2019 where the scholarship will be awarded. Family members are also invited to attend.

Applicants will be awarded quality points based on the following:

  • Evidence of Leadership
  • Demonstrated Commitment to Civic Engagement and Community Service
  • Quality of Essay Responses
  • Demonstrated Financial Need
  • Participation in Community College Program (i.e., NH Transfer, DualNH, etc.)
  • Current GPA

Please Note: CEO Scholarship funds are to be used for educational expenses only and the scholarship check will be sent directly to the college’s business office. The check will be made payable to the college AND the recipient. If the student’s current financial obligation with the institution has been met and the school issues a refund in accordance with their institutional policies, the scholarship recipient is expected to use those funds towards the payment of previous undergraduate student loan debt or the cost of living or commuting expenses associated with their education.
