NH "College is Possible" Campaign
How does the application process work? What sort of college is right for me?
How much will college cost? These are just a few of the questions that the
New Hampshire College is Possible Campaign can help you answer.
In 2000, the Coalition of America’s Colleges and Universities (CACU) launched
an expansive national education campaign, “College is Possible”. The campaign
was designed to help ensure that all Americans have the resources to make an
informed decision about whether and how to attend college. The NHHEAF Network
is working hard to promote this special initiative by launching an early awareness
project.
Beginning in the Fall, the NHHEAF Network and its community members will be
encouraging teachers, guidance counselors, school administrators and staff
to begin the conversation about education beyond high school with students
from 5th grade through high school.
The concept is founded on the belief that administrators, teachers, counselors,
and staff are mentors. Answering simple questions about the challenges and
opportunities that college present will mean everything to students who haven’t
yet begun to make the connection between academic learning, personal growth,
and the achievement of personal career and life goals.
