Destination College Over 850 high school juniors and parents attended the Annual Destination College convention Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Southern New Hampshire University! Students from 59 of the State's high schools registered to attend the event; with Londonderry High School and Pinkerton Academy having the most students registered for the program. Special thanks to all of the school counselors who volunteered at the event and encouraged students to attend! We couldn't do it without your support and volunteerism!

SAT Changes for 2016 In early March, the College Board announced plans for a redesigned SAT®  to be administered in the spring of 2016. According to the College Board, "The redesigned SAT will focus on the knowledge and skills that evidence shows matter most for college and career readiness." Free test preparation materials will be available and every income-eligible student will receive four fee waivers to apply to college if they take the redesigned SAT. Virtual Quest - Deadline Approaching! NH Jump$tart Coalition 's Get 10 financial literacy virtual scavenger hunt for New Hampshire teens ages 14 to 18 is coming to a close. Nearly 400 students have already participated! Encourage your students to test their financial literacy skills and get the opportunity to win fun prizes! The deadline for entries is Friday, April 18.

CCSNH Tuition Reduction Announcement

Students at New Hampshire's seven community colleges will see lower tuition bills starting in the fall, 2014 academic year. The Community College System board of trustees just announced a five percent tuition reduction, bringing the in-state per credit cost to $200 from its present level of $210. A three-credit course will cost $600, down from $630. For an in-state student taking a minimum full-time course load of twelve credits per semester, annual tuition costs will drop from $5,040 to $4,800. Read more here.
