Clothed, Fed + Over Their Heads?
Credit Card Use of NH Student Loan Borrowers
The New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) is responsible for working with students and families on ways to responsibly fund postsecondary education. As college costs continue to rise at a rate higher than inflation, NHHEAF is committed to taking a closer look at the financial hardships its borrowers face.
Clothed, Fed & Over Their Heads? examines the credit card use patterns of NHHEAF student loan borrowers. The analysis includes a breakdown of the credit card debt of 8,391 undergraduate college students and 22,186 former undergraduate college students now in repayment on their loans.
